Abstract

The Tulikup Village Government began to develop a plan to increase market capacity and arrange market parking. However, the parking arrangement plan only relies on vacant land on the side of the road without going through the previous parking analysis. This research was carried out to determine how effective the parking arrangement will be by comparing the current needs of the parking lot with the parking space plan that will be made, with the performance of parking spaces that will reduce congestion from the impact of parking. The parking plan design analysis results obtained that motorcycle parking has a parking index percentage of 127.69%. In comparison, the rate of the car parking index is 30%, so it can be concluded that the capacity of the car parking space meets and is sufficient to accommodate the number of cars. Meanwhile, the ability of parking spaces for motorcycles has yet to accommodate the number of motorcycles, so the Tulikup Village Government needs to consider additional land that will be used as parking lots. There needs to be more than the capacity of parking spaces for motorcycles in Pasar Tulikup to accommodate the number of parking needs needed, so it is necessary to add parking spaces to meet the existing deficiencies. The percentage of the car parking index in Tulikup Market has a percentage value below 100% so that the parking is still safe, where the available parking capacity can still accommodate car parking needs.
