Author Guidelines


General information
Jurnal Ilmiah MITSU (Media Informasi Teknik Sipil Universitas Wiraraja) is published 2 (two) times a year every April and October. Jurnal Ilmiah MITSU with p-ISSN No. 2339-0719 and e-ISSN No. 2685-9173. Jurnal Ilmiah MITSU are printed from articles sent to the editors of Jurnal Ilmiah MITSU after going through a review process by the Editorial Board and / or Bestari Partners. Every article submitted must be free from plagiarsm or autoplagiarsm elements.

The process of submitting / submitting articles and reviewing articles is done online. At this time Jurnal ilmiah MITSU have been indexed by several indexing engines such as: Google schooler, Crossref, SINTA and PKP | Index.

General Instructions
Articles must be written on A4 size HVS paper (210 x 297 mm). Articles are written without page numbers and arranged in order of topics of discussion: Introduction, Research Methods, Results and Discussion, Conclusions, Acknowledgments and Bibliography. Abstracts and titles are written in 2 (two) languages, namely Indonesian and English.

Writing Guidelines
Authors can also download templates from the website of Jurnal Ilmiah MITSU. The article begins with an article title in 12 pt bold UPPER CASE format. The author's name is written under the title in the format Title Case font 12 pt bold. The full author's name is written without an academic degree. Apostrophe is written behind the author's name in superscript format. The name of the institution (institution of origin and e-mail) is written under the author's name in Times New Roman in the format Title Case, 12 pt and in italic. If there is more than one author, an email should be written to the corresponding author. Article title, author name and institution name are written in the middle. The distance between the title and the author's name is 1 space and the distance between the author's name and the name of the institution is 1 space.

The abstract title should be centered in 12 pt bold font, UPPER CASE format. The distance between the abstract title and the name of the institution is 2 spaces (12 pt). The distance between abstract text and abstract title is 1 space (12 pt). Abstract is written in italics (Italic) for 150-200 words, with a left margin of 55 mm and a right margin of 40 mm. Keywords are written under abstract text, arranged in alphabetical order and separated by semicolons. The keyword title is written in regular format in 12 pt bold font, keywords should not be more than 5 words.

Abstracts are written in English and Indonesian. If the article is in Indonesian, then the English abstract should write the title in English. If the article is in English, then the Indonesian abstract should write the title in Indonesian. The title in the abstract is written before the abstract content in UPPER CASE Bold format.

The contents of the article are written in the format for the left margin of 30 mm, right margin of 20 mm, bottom margin of 25 mm and top margin of 25 mm. The header distance from the edge of the paper is 20 mm, and the footer distance from the edge of the paper (edge) is 20 mm. Articles are typed in MS Word in Times New Roman, with 12 pt font, 1 space and in two column format. Each article consists of a maximum of 10 pages (including figures and tables) and is written justified. Writing paragraphs on the left edge of the line with a new paragraph transition distance of 12 pt (the beginning of the paragraph is indented with a distance of 1 cm).

Subtitles are written in bold with the UPPER CASE format and are aligned to the left with numbers and in bold. The subtitles are written in bold with the Title Case format and are aligned to the left with numbers and in bold. Sub subtitles are written in bold with the Sentence case format and are arranged left alignment with numbers and in bold.

Figures and Tables are placed in the text group, annotated and centered (center text). Figures and tables are followed by an image title that is placed under the relevant image and a table title that is placed above the relevant table. Image titles and table titles are serial numbered. The image is guaranteed to be printed clearly even though it is reduced by 50%. Images or diagrams / schemes should be placed between groups of texts. Pictures are not framed.

Equations are written as centered and numbered in parentheses. The number is placed at the end of the right margin of the column.

Bibliography is arranged alphabetically without numbering and the distance between the bibliography is 1 space (12 pt). The writing rules used are as follows:

Article Publication
Articles are submitted / registered online by accessing the website of the MITSU Scientific Journal with the following address https://ejournalwiraraja.com/index.php/FT/user/register. Each author must have a users name and password / password to be able to register the article. Data in the Metadata section must be filled in completely with the data of all authors. Each article submission can be accompanied by a statement which states that the artiel is free from conflict and plagiarism. Authors who have not been submitted online can contact the editorial staff via E-mail with the address journalilmiahmitsu@gmail.com.

Each article will be reviewed by the Editorial Board and / or Bestari Partners. Correspondence will be addressed to the first author. The author must immediately improve the article according to the reviewer 's instructions. If the article has been declared accepted by both Major Revision and Minor Revision, the author must immediately correct the article that has gone through the review process.

Editors have the right to reject articles submitted if they are not relevant to the focus and scope of MITSU scientific journals, are not up to date or have been published in other scientific magazines / journals.
