Publication Ethics
1. Publication Ethics and Malpractice Statement
Tandhuk Majeng is a peer-reviewed journal that upholds the highest standards of publication ethics. All parties involved in the publication process (authors, editors, reviewers, and the publisher) must adhere to ethical standards to ensure integrity, transparency, and academic honesty.
2. Duties of Authors
- Authors must ensure that their work is original and has not been published or submitted elsewhere.
- All forms of plagiarism, fabrication, and falsification of data are strictly prohibited.
- Authors should provide accurate, clear, and honest descriptions of the methods and results of their community service activities.
- All sources used must be properly cited in accordance with APA Style.
- Authors must include the names of all contributors and may not list individuals who did not contribute substantially.
- If significant errors are discovered after publication, authors must notify the editor to issue a correction or retraction.
3. Duties of Editors
- Editors are responsible for ensuring fair and transparent peer-review of submitted manuscripts.
- Editors must maintain confidentiality of manuscripts and author information.
- Decisions on acceptance or rejection must be based solely on academic merit, relevance, and contribution to the field of education and community service.
- Editors must ensure that manuscripts are evaluated without discrimination on the basis of gender, religion, ethnicity, or nationality.
- Editors must act if ethical concerns are raised about a manuscript, whether published or unpublished.
4. Duties of Reviewers
- Reviewers must provide objective, constructive, and timely feedback to improve manuscript quality.
- Reviewers should maintain confidentiality and may not use the manuscript for personal benefit.
- Reviewers must disclose any conflict of interest that could affect their judgment.
- Reviewers should identify relevant works that have not been cited and notify the editor of potential plagiarism or ethical concerns.
5. Duties of the Publisher
- The publisher (FKIP Universitas Wiraraja) ensures that Tandhuk Majeng is managed professionally to maintain editorial independence and academic integrity.
- The publisher guarantees that all articles go through plagiarism checking and peer review before publication.
- The publisher is committed to providing access to knowledge, supporting academic freedom, and upholding ethical standards of publication.
6. Plagiarism Policy
- Manuscripts submitted to Tandhuk Majeng will be checked using Turnitin.
- The similarity index must be below 25%. Manuscripts exceeding this threshold will be returned to the authors for revision or rejected.
