SMART LEARNING ECOSYSTEM: PERAN TRANSFORMASI DIGITAL DAN MOTIVASI TERHADAP KESIAPAN KERJA MAHASISWA MELALUI SOFT SKILLS DAN PENGALAMAN PRAKTIK
Abstract
Transformasi Digital in higher education has driven a paradigm shift in learning toward a more adaptive, collaborative, and labor market-oriented system. The successful implementation of Transformasi Digital is determined not only by the utilization of technologtransformasiy but also by students' learning motivation, the development of soft skills, and practical experience gained throughout the educational process. This study aims to analyze the effect of Transformasi Digital and learning motivation on students' work readiness, both directly and indirectly through the mediating roles of soft skills and practical experience. This research employed a quantitative approach using an explanatory research design. The population consisted of university students in Malang City who had participated or were currently participating in internship or practical work programs. A total of 260 respondents were selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a five-point Likert scale questionnaire and analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS 4.0 software. The results indicate that the research instrument met the requirements of validity and reliability, as evidenced by the values of outer loading, Average Variance Extracted (AVE), Composite Reliability, and Cronbach's Alpha. Furthermore, the structural model analysis revealed that Transformasi Digital and learning motivation have positive effects on soft skills and practical experience. In addition, Transformasi Digital, learning motivation, soft skills, and practical experience were found to have positive effects on students' work readiness. The mediation analysis demonstrated that soft skills and practical experience significantly mediate the relationship between Transformasi Digital, learning motivation, and students' work readiness. These findings support the Smart Learning Ecosystem concept, which emphasizes the integration of technology, learning motivation, soft skill development, and practice-based learning experiences as key factors in enhancing graduates' work readiness.
