This study aims to analyze the risk factors associated with CKD in patients receiving hemodialysis therapy. The study design used a case-control study approach with 30 respondents selected purposively, consisting of 15 CKD patients as the case group and 15 hypertensive patients without CKD as controls. Inclusion criteria for the case group included patients aged 30–65 years who had been diagnosed with end-stage CKD and underwent regular hemodialysis, while the control group consisted of hypertensive patients without impaired kidney function with the same age. All respondents must be willing to participate in the study and sign an informed consent. The exclusion criteria for both groups included patients with a history of autoimmune disease, diabetes mellitus, other chronic diseases that affect kidney function, long-term use of nephrotoxic drugs, and the inability to fully participate in the research process. The research data were analyzed using the chi-square test to determine the relationship between hypertension, diet, and the risk of CKD. Statistical tests showed that a history of hypertension increased the risk of CKD with a p value of 0.003, unhealthy diet was associated with CKD with a p value of <0.05, and the relationship between hypertension and CKD risk with a ϕ value of 0.533. The results of this study indicate that hypertension and unhealthy diet play a significant role in the development of CKD, providing important guidance for health intervention programs. Hypertension and unhealthy diet are major risk factors for CKD in hemodialysis patients.
2025-05-31T02:04:39+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournalwiraraja.com/index.php/FIK/article/view/4041Dampak Pengalaman Pasien yang Mempengaruhi Loyalitas Pasien di Rumah Sakit2025-06-04T03:03:11+00:00Masjadi MasjadiMasjadi79@gmail.comSafira Salsabilul Jannahsafira.salsa.202@gmail.com
Patient loyalty is an important indicator of hospital success. This study aims to analyze the relationship between catcalling experiences, mental health, and self-confidence in female students of Universitas Negeri Medan (UNIMED). This study used a quantitative approach with a correlational design. The sample consisted of 30 female students selected using a purposive sampling technique. Data were collected through a Likert scale-based questionnaire and analyzed using validity, reliability, normality, Pearson correlation tests, and multiple linear regression. The results showed that catcalling had a significant effect on self-confidence with a Pearson correlation value of 0.687 (p <0.05), which indicated a negative impact, especially on women. In addition, mental health was also shown to significantly affect self-confidence (r count = 0.493, p <0.05), where individuals with good mental health tend to have higher self-confidence. Repeated catcalling significantly decreases mental health, which ultimately has a negative impact on self-confidence. These findings underscore the importance of preventive and intervention efforts to protect female students from catcalling and raise public awareness of its impact. This study provides recommendations for campuses to create a safe environment and support female students' mental well-being and self-confidence.
2025-05-31T02:13:54+00:00##submission.copyrightStatement##https://ejournalwiraraja.com/index.php/FIK/article/view/3474Pharmaceutical Care Berpengaruh terhadap Kualitas Hidup, Kepatuhan dan Outcome Klinis Pasien Diabetes Melitus Tipe 2 di Beberapa Daerah di Indonesia: Kajian Literatur2025-06-04T03:03:11+00:00Baiq Rani Salsabiellabqrani22@gmail.comMahacita Andanalusiamahacitaandanalusia@unram.ac.id
Diabetes mellitus is a metabolic disease in which there are abnormalities in insulin secretion, insulin action or both, causing hyperglycemia.
